Seth and I are overjoyed to be getting married and are so thankful for our friends and family who have supported us and shaped us into who we are today. We ask that you pray for us as we prepare for the wonderful sacrament of marriage!

Our Wedding

After moving back to Houston after college, Seth began attending St. Joseph Catholic Church. As he became more involved in the community, he was presented with the opportunity to join an Evangelical Catholic small group led by Lauren. Lauren had been attending St. Joseph’s for several years and was excited to begin leading a small group of her own. Looking for young adults who might be interested in joining, she received Seth’s name from a mutual friend. Lauren gave Seth a call, and he happily agreed to join.Through the small group, Seth and Lauren had the opportunity to get to know each other on a deeper, more personal level while building a strong friendship. As the group was coming to an end, Seth finally worked up the courage to ask Lauren on a date. Hoping she would give him a chance, he asked her out, and although they originally agreed to wait until the small group ended, the spark between them was simply too strong to ignore.Their first date was Seth’s company Christmas party at the Hyatt Marriott downtown, where they instantly hit it off. Soon after — two dates later, to be exact — Seth asked Lauren to be his girlfriend, and she said yes!The next 15 months were filled with cooking together, introducing each other to new movies, Chick-fil-A runs, actual runs at the park, Sunday Mass, and countless inside jokes. Then, on March 28th, Lauren was overjoyed when Seth got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Lauren said YES, and the two cannot wait to spend forever together.We are so thankful for all of the blessings in our lives — most of all, the gift of each other and the gift of marriage
